Fun Friday

We had a fun filled Friday. First we played at the playground, then joined all the cousins for lunch at chick-fil-a, and ended with a swim that evening.
Here are some pictures from our day.

These kids could swing all day. Jacob constantly asks to go higher.Reese really loves it and pitches a fit when she has to get off.
Having a snack.
Racing each other aroud the track.

Jake decided to just cheer Rylee on for her second lap.
After the park we meet Allison, Emilee and all the kids for lunch at Chick-fil-a.
After lunch they played outside and then ate some ice cream.

Notice the book behind Jake? On our way to eat we stopped at a yard sale and bought Rylee a bunch of books. She has already read half of them, including Stuart Little, Meet Addy (an American girl book) Frog and Toad and a few smaller ones. That girl would read all day.
Sharing a seat.
Hunter dropped his ice cream but got another.
Jonathan also dropped his and Hunter feeling his pain was kind enough to give him some.
Savannah, Kennedy, Lydia and Anna Kate all went to VBS this week. notice the matching shirts
Reese ate her whole thing with a big grin.

That evening we meet David and Emilee's family at the pool.
One of my kids favorite things about going to the pool is getting to "drive" there.

Jake at the wheel
If it isn't your turn to drive then it is just as exciting getting to sit up front.
Rylee decided to try it backwards.

Reese in her coveted life jacket. She loves this thing. She keeps her eye on it and as soon as someone takes it off she is after it. She also screams when someone else puts it on.

We tried to get Jake and Hunter to hold hands and jump in.They couldn't get the timing down.
Hunter in all his craziness helps Jake be more brave.

Reese loves the water and likes to float around by herself.
And usually with her tongue out.

Sorry for so many pictures. But I haven't taken many lately so I am trying to make up for it.
