LIfe's Little Lessons

I often have Hunter & Anna Kate play and have room time together. They tend to come out for every little thing.  Sometimes I will tell them, "Unless it is an emergency I want you to stay in your room."

Today after meeting Rebecca for our free ice cream at Ben & Jerry's, we left to see this sight across Kingston Pike:

It was a HUGE tree that had fallen and covered all the lanes.  So I told the kids to look out the window.  To which Anna Kate replied, "Whoa, that's a REAL EMERGENCY!"  That will teach her to call a silly whack in the noggin' an emergency!
