LIfe's Little Lessons

I often have Hunter & Anna Kate play and have room time together. They tend to come out for every little thing.  Sometimes I will tell them, "Unless it is an emergency I want you to stay in your room."

Today after meeting Rebecca for our free ice cream at Ben & Jerry's, we left to see this sight across Kingston Pike:

It was a HUGE tree that had fallen and covered all the lanes.  So I told the kids to look out the window.  To which Anna Kate replied, "Whoa, that's a REAL EMERGENCY!"  That will teach her to call a silly whack in the noggin' an emergency! 

More Egg Hunting

We had Easter at the Stanleys. After lunch we had the annual egg hunt.  There are so many kiddos we have to do two hunts.

 

 

I think Kennedy sprinted the whole time.  I kept trying to get her picture but they are all of the side of her face.

Reese (aka - Ms. Personality) was so cute during the egg hunt.  She was not going to be left out of the fun!  She crawled all through the grass with the two eggs she found.  

 

Every once in a while she would take a break and raise her eggs for all to see.  They were quite smashed by the end.

Spring Party

We have a tradition were each sister throws a yearly party for all the cousins. Like we don't already have enough parties with all the birthdays but it is a lot of fun. And of course the kids love it. My family is in charge of the Spring Party.It was fun and the weather was great.
