Annual Fall party

We had our annual Fall party last week for the cousins. These annual holiday parties are a highlight for the kids. They have been a fun way to make special memories.

Reese showed up looking adorable as can be.

Jonathan loves for me to take his picture!

First activity: Sweeping pumpkin relay

The competition got intense.

Actually, just Kennedy did. I had no idea she was so competitive. But there were lots of faces like this:

And this...

And when it wasn't her turn she was running beside & cheering on her fellow teammates!
Here is Hunt doing the candy corn relay. I'm pretty sure he ate way more than he put in the bowl.

We also did a little apple bobbing.

And finally some painting with the apples.
Reese thought it looked better as body paint.

1 + 2 = Birthday Bash

Since Juddson & Jonathan have a birthday so close together we thought we should just do a COMBO party. So we had a little camping themed family party. Here are the snapshots from the day. (Lots of pics for you Mimi!)

Here is the cutie 2 year-old.

And my sweet baby.

Pow pow. Watch out - this boy loves guns.

Juddson was hilarious with his cake. He hasn't had much sugar this first year of life. So he kept looking at me like, "Really, mom, is this okay?"

And then he nibbled on it like this for several minutes. I think he still thought it was too good to be true.

Finally he got the hang of it and devoured the whole thing.

Hugs for Auntie.

Time for smores.

Thanks everyone for coming. We are truly blessed by your generosity and love for our kiddos.

Five under five

Last weekend David & I kept Jake & Reese for 3 days while Chad & Bec were on an anniversary trip. This gave us 5 kids under 5 (4, 3, 2, 1, and almost 1). Let's just say it was a little on the busy side! But we did enjoy a fun game of baseball. I only got a few pictures before chaos happened and the camera got put down...but enjoy these few.

Taking a little break in the "outfield."

For the record, Jake was the only one who could really hit the ball.

And Reese, well, she just looked adorable. :)

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a superhero!

Dress-up is a common occurrence in our home. Lately it has been superhero themes. Here are a few pics of the kiddos playing outside in their outfits. I'm sure the neighbors always get a kick out of their many wardrobes.

Even superheroes need a bath.
