Rub-a-dub-dub some kids in the tub

I kept Kent & Allison's kiddos the other night and everyone needed a bath.

First it was the boys...

Jonathan sporting the bubble beard.

The girls were up next.

But when I had my back turned Jonathan decided he was ready for round two - pajamas & all!

(Savannah was probably in the kitchen cleaning up, or finding pajamas or holding the baby.  Thanks Savannah for all your help - I could NOT have done it without you!)

Traditions

It's so fun to carry on traditions from when we were young.  One of them being the 4th of July parade in Dunlap.  Every year we (try) to make it down for the parade.  The kids love all the candy!  There is nothing like a small town parade.

Thanks Dad & Linda for having us.  I know it's crazy but we sure have fun!  (Kent & Allison didn't make it this year).

Setting sail with Captain Papa

Thanks Papa for taking us all out on the boat.  I think it's safe to say we all had a great time!

Chad with the girls.

And now the boys...

And finally Reese, a.k.a. - Ms. Spunky.  She was so eager to get on the tube and then once she did she wanted to stand the whole time.

Our best attempt at a group photo.

A weekend away

It was Christmas in June for us!  We set aside some money we received (thanks Dad!) and gift cards (thanks Auntie!) from Christmas to take a family trip.  We had the best weekend.  We went to Chattanooga for two nights.  The kids did great and we had a blast.

Here is David and mini-me.  Maybe it's the freshly shaved head but they sure look a lot alike.

Enjoying the fountains downtown.

Chattanooga has a great children's museum.  I wish we had one of these in K-town!  Here we are in the baby room.

The kids putting on a play.

David warming up for his ballet recital. :)

Despite the fact that we enjoyed our lovely stay at the Read House, the kids wanted to sleep on the floor.

And lastly, enjoying a dip in the indoor pool.

This will hopefully become a yearly tradition!
